DFW Play Guide

Dallas visitor guide

Galleria Dallas Play Place

The Galleria’s rainforest-themed Play Place sits under the domed skylight on Level 3. The height limit is more useful than an assumed age range when deciding whether a child can use it. The mall also publishes separate free PALS activities and performances.

What to expect

Mall indoor play area

  • Rainforest-themed play equipment under the mall’s domed skylight.
  • The current operator page places it on Level 3 near The Children’s Place.
  • Family restrooms and nursing rooms are listed elsewhere in the shopping center.

Admission and family costs

The current operator page does not publish a separate Play Place admission price. The original November 2 weekend research classified it as free; that price classification has not been newly confirmed by an explicit operator statement.

Other places in Dallas

Dallas · Indoor sandbox and construction play

Dig Depot

Dig Depot centers a visit on sand, digging tools and miniature construction play rather than a large climbing structure. Its North Dallas location also has a sand-free infant area, giving families with younger siblings a separate type of play to consider.

Ages & eligibility · Designed for ages 0–9. Ask about the Foreman Pass for an older sibling joining a paying child.

Dallas · All-abilities sensory gym

We Rock the Spectrum Dallas

This North Dallas sensory gym offers open play with access to its gym equipment and an arts-and-crafts area. A caregiver stays with the child throughout the visit. Weekend access needs a calendar check because private parties can interrupt the recurring schedule.

Ages & eligibility · The operator welcomes children of different abilities and describes open play for special-needs children and adults of all ages. Ask the gym about equipment suitability for your child.

Dallas · Indoor play clubhouse and café

Rowan Clubhouse

Rowan combines imaginative and sensory play with a café, lounge and separately bookable work pods. It offers drop-in reservations as well as memberships. Compare the drop-in checkout with membership benefits rather than assuming the same adult allowance applies to both.

Ages & eligibility · The operator describes a family play space without a numeric age range on the public homepage. Check eligibility in the drop-in booking before reserving.
